We have arranged our levels based on ages to ensure your child receives a dance education that is physically and developmentally appropriate for their age. All classes will be differentiated to meet and challenge all students in the class. If a child struggles or excels they may be moved down or up a level for a specific genre of dance.
More levels and additional genres of dance may be added for the 2016 ~ 2017 Year.

Creative Movement (2-4 years old)
Creative Movement is a play based dance class that helps your little one build skills in problem solving, balance, coordination, and special awareness. This class helps them to improve and strengthen their memory and cognition as well as interact with peers and teachers while having fun, and learning the fundamentals of dance in caring and nurturing environment!
Combo Classes: (Ages 3-6)
Students must be evaluated before going en pointe. Student must take at least one ballet class per week to take a pointe class.
Pointe 1: 1-2 years en pointe
Pointe 2: 2 or more years en pointe
LEAPS AND TURNS / STRETCH & STRENGTHEN
Stretch & Strengthen: A technique class to work on the on the strengthening of the feet and muscles and work on flexibility. Our method helps our students to become stronger dancers while working within the confines of what is safe and healthy for each individual student’s body.
*This is required for all company competition team members in level 3 and 4.
Leaps and Turns: Level 3 & 4 Combination class to work specifically on all types or turns, jumps, and leaps in isolation without the presence of choreography.

LYRICAL, CONTEMPORARY, & MODERN
Lyrical is the fusion of ballet and jazz. Contemporary is the fusion of modern, ballet, and jazz. We have chosen to combine these two styles because of how similar and interchangeable they can be.
Modern: Is A form of contemporary and theatrical and concert dance using the entire body to express absract ideas through movement. This style of dance originates from Isadora Duncan, Ruth St. Denis, and Martha Graham who created this style of dance to break the boundaries of classical ballet.
Level 1 & 2 Lyrical & Contemporary Ages 6-11
Level 3 Lyrical & Contemporary Ages 11-14
Level 4 Lyrical & Contemporary Ages 14+
Level 4 Modern Ages 14+ (Younger dancers may be evaluated to join this class)

Intro to dance for teens
This class is designed for teenagers who have never danced before or have not danced in years. It is never too late to start dancing! Each week we focus on a different genre of dance so that our teens build a foundation and are exposed to all genres of dance.
